are you all thick or what? there's a difference between tickets available for fans to buy and the tickets you make available to our club. we can't supply police to away games because they are needed for newcastle's home games. if more police were available we'd send back less tickets. hands are tied with health and saftey you stupid gimps. EVERY TICKET MADE AVAILABLE TO OUR FANS ARE SOLD! HENCE SELLING OUR ALLOCATION. JUST BECAUSE YOU HAVE AN AWAY END FOR 4000 AWAY FANS DOESN'T MEAN 4000 TICKETS ARE AVAILABLE TO EVERY AWAY TEAM WHO VISIT YOUR GROUND! IDIOTS

That's right. Sunderland have only optioned Gates 1-2 at the Bridge for the last few seasons because that's all they can sell, whereas united arsenal Liverpool etc option gates 1-4 because they always sell out

Do you not think it a bit odd that police are needed so your away turnouts are restricted but that's not the case for anyone else? Hardly the only two clubs to have the same police force are you.

Someone has clearly told you some guff and you've fallen for it. When you didn't take the whole top tier at QPR, not that that's to be sniffed at midweek in December, last season, it's nothing to do with police. The police have nothing to do with you not selling out away matches in the South or Wales.

You are right Watford. QPR take Gates 1-4 Shed Upper at SB and sell them out.

Sunderland only ever option Gates 1-2 and do not option Gates 3-4.

Arsenal make 3,000 tickets available for all away fans. The reason clubs like Sunderland don't get 3,000 tickets is because they couldn't sell them.

Our home support is no different to any other teams. When i go to away games our support always seems to make more noise than the home fans.It may have something to do with the more hardcore support going to away games.

it's true. stop making assumptions and read into footballs health and safety on crowd control. also look into the resources of the likes of the metropolitan police compared to Northumbria police. all the information is there on line if you fancy educating yourself. some one told me we sent 3000 tickets back. bit strange that we managed to send a nice round number back if every ticket sent out was actually available to our fans. We can't send police to the other side of the country for our fans when they have to police 50 thousand at St James on the same weekend. Everton's poor travelling support to the stadium of light every season proves my point. they're not **** fans, Merseyside police restrict their numbers. Not my fault if you're all too thick to arm yourself with the facts. it's boring now so I'm finished. Tara!

So Newcastle are perfectly able to fill every away end but the police aren't required for the fans at the SoL, makes perfect sense. You get 10% or 3000, whichever is smaller, just like everyone else.

Arsenal away support is superb. Up there with United in terms of noise and numbers. In top three in Prem

Rubbish. Newcastle have occassionally taken Gates 1-4 at Chelsea but rarely, Sunderland never have and only take Gates 1-2.

Not for me. In terms of numbers they take more than Spurs and West Ham but I've always thought Spurs away support was better in terms of noise. West Ham on a par but when they last came to the Bridge they were as good as any, better than Arsenal have ever been.

Of the 4 I think Chelsea, Spurs and West Ham all better in terms of noise but Arsenal edge ahead of the rest for numbers at the moment, younger matchgoing fanbase <ok>

Spurs were very noisy but went downhill after the glory year (2010/11). Maybe you are right though Arsenal better for numbers than noise.

Chelsea ahead of spurs in numbers again these days

According to the club we played 27 games at home and abroad last season and we sold out our allocation at every game.

Man City will bring 3,000 fans to Arsenal next Sunday. On the same day Liverpool play Man Utd at OT.Greater Manchester police don't seem to have a problem with this.

They don't usually at the bridge either, citing ticket prices. The only teams who only sell out are you lot, United, Liverpool. Spurs have failed to sell out since we went all seater too, taking just half of the east lower when fans were seated there at the bridge

Would not dispute that. And would accept your away following is slightly bigger than ours these days. Do you sell out Sunderland and Newcastle away for night games?
