That first touch from RVP for the goal was good as it gets. Sold for 'footballing reasons'. He is not the bell end.
When they win the title this year the first person Fergie should thank in his speech is Wenger. Without him they'd be facing a battle to stay in the top 4, criminal decision.
If Wenger was more than willing to keep Nasri (a much lesser player) and let him leave on a free, then surely he would have the felt the same about RVP? Wenger was probably overruled again. His only crime, is not standing up and fighting against the board. Fergie should thank our board more than he should thank Wenger. As for United struggling to stay in the top four without him, they seemed to do fine without RVP in the year before. Man Utd under Fergie will NEVER struggle to stay in the top four, with or without RVP.
Not according to Alex Flynn, the author of 'Arsenal - Making of a Modern Super Club'. A man that has various different contacts at the club. According to him, Wenger was ready to keep Nasri but was overruled in a meeting that took place on that members day thing the club host at the Emirates. Wenger said he could write a book about the things that went on in that summer when the likes of Nasri was sold, I hope he does write this book. Also Wenger said we would no longer be a big club club if we sold Nasri and Cesc. Do you really think Arsene would say that in public and do something else in private, he is a proud man, I doubt he wants to be mocked. That comment was a clear message to the board, but they did not listen.
The trouble is we'll never know the truth about what happened unless as you say Wenger tells his side of the story.
In other news, Sergio Aguero has confirmed that he has tore his hamstring, so he will most definitely be ruled out for City's game against us next week.
i know it's already been discussed, but i just got back home....RVP scores and saves United, AGAIN. How tragic, Arsenal fans for a long long time have been saying United have had a piss poor squad that was bound to struggle, which was true, so the irony in that United are managing to flourish thanks to ARSENAL handing them our best player, who'd have ever thought that. As I said before, RVP's departure to United represents EVERYTHING that's wrong with this club, and which is why fans like me will never get over it until things change for the better. Arsenal Football Club, utterly pathetic, that describes our situation quite well.
Ok? Anyway Villa rumors are strengthening. ESPN reports we submitted a bid and Barcelona still owe us over Song.
Nothing, it's not working out well at all, it's just pissing me off, which is what this club is good at, pissing fans like me off with their stupid moves. And then they add insult to injury saying he was sold for 'footballing' reasons, i have some dark dark thoughts for the one who uttered that statement, ;-).
No counseling will help, everytime he scores, I will get mad and pissed off. And the ones I'm pissed off at the most, is not even him, though he sickens me, my anger is at this club, that allowed such a move to happen. In my eyes, they're a bunch of no good ****ing traitors for letting him go, and should rot in hell.
And I think you should calm the **** down. At the end of the day its still a bunch of overpaid guys kicking a ball around. Football is my life, but I also realize its just a game and sure the Board are pricks but sometimes you take it too far.
