Didn't see the second half goals well as on the Itchen/Chaple corner. I don't know how culpable Boruc was but he was certainly responsible for our goal. Excellent throw out to the counter going and I don't think that Davis or Gazza would have spotted that. I vote he gets the nod for Villa.
With a cup game 1-0 or 5-1 makes no difference so once it was obvious we had lost all I wanted was no cards or injuries. Lets hope that Jose heals quickly. Delighted about the replays elsewhere, that was the silver lining for me.

Silver lining out of that was a mate and I both putting money on Rodriguez scoring first at 8:1, which paid for our tickets! Chelsea looked more interested and with their class, they were just too good. Can't really complain and there's nothing I can find to level at Adkins. We simply got beat by a better team that wanted it more than us. Shame about Fonte and hope it's not too bad.

 

Good start by Saints but once Chelsea got into gear they played really well and deserved their big win. Shame about Fonte's injury but thats life Jim .... lets hope it isnt too bad.
JRod took his goal very well after some good work by Punch - however their 2nd goal killed Saints and we never got going really 2nd half due to a top Chelsea performance.
Davis is my pick of our goalie's but Boruc did Ok today, maybe should have done better with one of the goals but not a major balls up.
Onwards to Villa Park and 3 mega points.
