Lets all raise a glass - knew this thread would blow up in our face. £2.6m well spent! Well done Stevie Bruce!
The idiot scores in the last few minutes ..............what a plonker ,now we have to go to Orient midweek. We tried desperately to give away a penalty which the blind officials failed to give whilst smart Cardiff gave away a goal and a penalty in the last 5 minutes. What a pain in the ar-se
Cardiff are the big winners today They get an extra week off as our game with them has now been postponed Hull and Palace now have a extra mid week game Leicester and Boro safely through
How is that good for them, they now have to play it midweek at some point in the season so it builds up their fixture backlog. We're totally ****ed over though, we've got an extra midweek game now, and our game against Derby has been postponed so will be midweek. The only saving grace is that Watford also lost (we're due to play them on 5th Round Day) so if we can manage to get knocked out properly in the replay we've only got one postponement to worry about.
Cardiff have no game for 2 weeks allowing them to be fresh and get rid of some injuries they may have. I now want us to get a big team in the next round. We don't need a cup run this year
bad pitch, weakened side.. your becoming the master of the feeble excuse.. , I always had faith in prossie though, (I was the only one who did, against all the doubters) his goals may be like rocking horse shight but what timing I sense a goal glut is on the cards now for the strudle knosher., I always thought orient would be a bridge too far for hull though..
The only player from our first XI to play today was the keeper, and that's only because Amos got recalled this week. My view on the Cups is quite well known, and I can see us ****ing up by beating Orient in the replay and then us drawing each other in the 4th Round. It'd be **** for both of us because there'd be no big money from TV or anything, and we wouldn't be able to play reserve sides because of the morale factor of getting a result over a promotion rival combined with fans expectations on both sides being that we could win it. (ie no manager could throw the game by playing a weakened side again)
I never said they did, i said what they may have at that time. Every team carries a few knocks but they play on though it. Trying to suggest having a week off isnt good for Cardiff is just stupidity. No one is gaining any ground on them so I think they will be quite happy with it
One step st a time. You have to go to Orient and win before you talk about Hull being in the 4th round.
