Obviously none of us know where NC is with negotiations etc. Your right in the fact if NC gets his man, great. My concern is we definitely need decent CB cover which we didn't get in the summer, we don't want to be scrambling around at the end of this window. Would imagine we enquired about Astori before window opened so hopefully negotiations are at advanced stage.

He may even be the alleged big signing that didn't get done in the Summer. We do need a good CB despite the vastly improved form of Maya and Jose.

On a transfer site, they say the Astori move is 32% probability of happening. To put into context they have the chance of Ramirez leaving for Fiorentino at 40%...so rubbish basically.

Well we know Ramirez leaving for Fiorentina is factually not going to happen, so I'm not stressing

Yeah it's typical. Nothing public for the journos to comment on, so to keep the story alive they say it's breaking down, then it makes for a better story when it does happen. Happens with every transfer.
