Na, I think this is more about people who have never played together and people like CS who have no chance at starting a game for us.

Some of these players should be sold and never play for us again.

Not really. We had the entire outfield from our first team rested today. Under normal circumstances you have 1 or 2 missing so the replacements not being as good isn't as big a problem as today would suggest. You've also got players who know they have no future here (McKenna, Oli, Dawson etc) who are torn between trying to put in a performance to earn a contract elsewhere and also trying to avoid getting injured by some lower league chump putting in a dodgy tackle and injuring them. Look at Cairney vs Donny earlier in the season. If someone like say McKenna knows a club wants to loan him with a view to signing him he's not going to want to risk a similar injury which could effectively end his career by putting him out for the summer.

todays team was a lot like the side we would put out last season for a league game i suppose so its fair to say we have plenty of strength in depth

There's always going to be somebody in a lower league team that's total **** but gets over excited playing against higher league opposition and makes a stupid tackle. If they didn't have any players that were like that they wouldn't be a lower league team. Unless you're playing against a side with someone like Joey Barton or Danny Guthrie in it you're a lot less likely to have the same risk when playing a PL side or another top end Championship side where players are looking to avoid suspensions. (hmm, McKenna vs Donny)

Mckenna and Stewart were woeful today, both looked totally out of place, I think there only five players up for it today, jak, macca, bruce, rosie and cairney, the other six were poor at best.

That's his second worse game for the club, behind Blackpool!

Looking at the team today i thought Macca and Bruce carried on with decent performances, Rosie got up down ok but crossing let him dow, oli until getting tired used the ball well along with cairney, Prozzy is heading has got better since when i first so him but sometimes his first touch got away from him. Would i change the first team with anyone who played today? unless we had any injuries the answer is NO

I think Individually they could all come into the team for a couple of games and do a job, Wouldn't fancy any of them for a regular start at the moment (Other than Bruce or Mcshane who have been playing). I think as has already been said it was more of the fact that the team was cobbled together that made them look poor.
