hope Gardener can can find some midfield form in the prem. as much as he's done decent a job at right back, it's such a waste with the quality of his long shots.
I think Gardner is a very good player, he is positive, yes he loses the ball occasionally but at least its because he is not trying to play safe all the time and he is trying to create something. I hope he gets a chance in midfield with either Catts or a new signing. He has got 4 goals this season and most of them have come from RB. He is a potential 10 goals a season midfielder.
I think a replay at our place won't be too bad - and surely if Marty is worried about having an extra game he can start Wickham and Campbell etc and leave the regular PL first-teamers on the bench. Agree Cest and others that Gardner in CM would be good to see more often - we did sign him on the basis of the goals he got from CM for Birmingham - and Wickham needs more minutes, he's been good every time he's come on recently.
