They never seem to happen at the weekends though Moorph! I know how u feel though. I think it's pretty clear that I'm like a kid on Christmas Day when it comes to the transfer window.
Same - I get really into it! I read earlier that we were in for Sneijder (there was some story that he'd been left out of Inter's squad due to his move to us - probably BS) and also that talks for Damiao were progressing well. Exciting!
Sneijder is hoping for a move to a big club. Not heard anything about a bid but apparently he wants the prem and we're the favorites. - levy deadline day steal I reckon... IF we don't get preferred targets. I just don't know how we'll get round the wages on that one. But levy did it with city, so who knows.... Damaio would be lovely, but apparently the priority is with moutinho. If the 24mill euro fee for damaio is any where near accurate, I can't see us getting both. That'll be the best part of £45m! Then again, we can sell hudd and Livermore to cover a huge chunk of that!

I'm right with you, except you've forgotten about David Villa. Then after we get him and Sneijder, the other Golden Cojone contenders of recent years will come flocking as well. I'll go out on a limb and say one player we absolutely, positively won't be getting is Willian, on the theory Shakthar turned down a 27 million pound bid for him. He ain't worth that much. I'm not sure I'd want him for 15, to tell you the truth. I don't think he's the answer at CAM, he's not as good as Lennon or Bale, and he's too expensive to be a backup.
Twitter is claiming that a fee for Moutinho has been agreed. Apparently AVB went onto either 5live or Talksport and confirmed it - make of that what you will. I wasn't listening to either. Chances are it's all BS but hey ho.
That's twitter nonsense about AVB and talksport. But the fee being agreed is supposedly true. So is all the terms, it's literally a case of him saying yes or no now. And apparently Porto are on the verge of signing izmailov from sporting Lisbon.. Hmm. Interesting, don't ya think?

Well, Jake not even on the bench today so undoubtedly he is offski - either temp or perm. Hudd was at best average today against a less than inspired opposition. That in short means we are -2 Midfielders from the start of the season and with Carroll nowhere near being the finished article yet, together with a gaping hole in the form of a creative CM, we MUST get in Moutinho during this window.
