JOSE BOSINGWA has sparked more fury at QPR by claiming he is not fit enough to train or play. The £65,000-a-week Portuguese defender was fined two weeksâ wages for refusing to be a sub against Fulham last month. He has not trained with the Hoops or played for them since. He has told the Premier League strugglers he has an injury and is unavailable. But a Loftus Road insider said: âEveryone here is baffled. âWe are all wondering how he could have been injured when he hasnât even been training.â Former Chelsea star Bosingwa was handed a three-year deal by previous Rangers boss Mark Hughes in August. But he angered new manager Harry Redknapp when he refused to sit on the bench in the derby against the Cottagers. http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepag...-is-unfit-to-train-or-play.html#ixzz2H3ZBbNGZ
Surely this must be a breach of contract. What he needs is a check-up-from-the-neck-up. Sack the waster!
Sounds a wind-up story. Medical team would have to assess him if he was injured. But regardless, don't want his type in the club - has to go. Sack him for refusing to fulfil his contractual obligations to his employer.
Yes. Request consent to a medical examination by our occupational health physician. If he refuses to consent, give him an instruction to do so. If he refuses, sack the lazy bastard for refusing to follow a lawful and reasonable instruction. it is the most basic form of gross misconduct. Even pampered footballers do not have the right to be insubordinate.
If he is "injured" there is even less chance of him being sold. That's what he wants. He can be paid £3m a year for doing absolutely nothing. No need to train and no need to play - even in reserve matches - because he is "injured". They should make the 'effer pick up all the rubbish in the ground after home games ... on his own.
Send him on loan to league one. Actually no, just get rid and never speak of him again. Even delete from the QPR Wikipedia page.
If it wasnt the scum, Id say this was the club leaking info before they terminate his contract but its probably bollocks as its the scum.
Good job he was a free transfer, fine him four weeks wages ( until end of transfer window ) and hope he's sold by then!
If we fine him any more he can appeal to the league / PFA and it will drag on forever, like Balotelli's last but one fiasco.
If I was Bosingwa, I would just turn up for training and laugh - if he picks up his pay checks for the next 2 and a half years, he will fleece you lot for £8,840,000. This is the danger of assuming it was just a free transfer, the impact of high wages! Think what you could buy with that money...Demba Ba for example!
