So why mention Sevco (still hilarious by the way)...

    This is a Rangers issue...

Rangers get titles stripped (wont happen in my opinion) then I cant see how this woudl affect - in some people's eyes - the new Rangers!

I`m fairly confident rangers will be found to have acted in a way that is wrong but requires no further sanction and a form of words will be found in the judgement that they - erroneously - imagine will partially satisfy everyone.

Sion bought players while under a transfer ban thats why uefa kicked them out. As for ffp thats to do with club accounts and not registration of players/

Because he has also spoken of UEFA coefficient points. He believes that Sevco may inherit them from Rangers once the 3 year period for new clubs has expired.

To clarify. SEVCO have not played in UEFA competitions yet, so have no coefficient in their own right. I was referring to the continuation of the presence of rfc within the UEFA coefficient ranking somewhere in the 100s, if I recall correctly, which leads some to believe mistakenly that UEFA recognise SEVCO as a continuation of rfc. Of course, UEFA would have to award new clubs entering competition for the first time a coefficient which is low, but boosted by their country coefficient and previous clubs of same nationality, consequently SEVCO would not have zero, but would have a very low coefficient based on Scotland and Scottish clubs performances indirectly.

Not sure I mentioned LC. SFA made rfc play in the 2nd round of the SC.

Not so sure. UEFA are not the SFA. They will have to be perceived to punish improper registration of this type, as they have severely punished Sion. If the fair play policy is to mean anything, the blatant cheating, if rfc are found guilty, would have to be punished and trophies withdrawn. Copenhagen have made noises last summer about rfc and the possible improper registration costing them.

Thanks RB. THe more the media attempts to remove the liquidation from history is opposed the better. Celtic and her fans are not Montrose and cannot, as we have proved historically with the Great Flag Flutter issue of the fifties, be intimidated by the establishment nor their former club.

SFA made SEVCO play in the second round of the SC, as a new club would, which had previously never played in the SPL. Even relegated clubs, who competed in the SPL the previous year have a right to play in the fourth round as their first point of entry in the competition.
UEFA do not permit newly formed clubs to compete in European competition for 3 years. They told the SPL and SFA this when they were making noises about the new club possibly being elected into the SPL.

    Pud
Charles Green in his statement about Administration said that the history would be lost if the club were liquidated.
Duff and Phelps in their statement to creditors said six times that the club and the company were one and the same. Rfc letter to Plus Stock exchange to notify withdrawal said on three occasions that the club is the company.
Companies House Standard Industrial Classification categorises rfc as 93120 a Sports Club and Rangers Group, formerly Wavetower, the holding company for rfc under classification 7145 a holding company, thus confirming that rfc were a club and a company and were liquidated. Incidentally and curiously the holding company RG has not been liquidated and remains active, for whatever reason????

The ethereal spirit of the club may live on in the minds if some fans, but the club is gone and the former shareholders were told that when D and P informed them if the failure to go into Adminstration.
