Had this email from a cousin in Coventry just now. "I saw a feature on the BBC news this morning about road signs and how many councils were getting rid of a lot of them. There is one in Sunderland that definitely needs a heave ho. Underneath the sign that directs traffic to the Stadium of light and the glass museum is a yellow one that reads "for football follow Newcastle" I'm amazed it hasn't been destroyed." Regards John Anyone know where it is?
It was a temporary sign on Wessington Way directing people to St James for the Olympics mate. It was funny like, even if it ripped us!
I'm sure you're lot will still remember the road signs to the championship clubs, so it will still be fresh in your minds for next season
With 2 wins and 9 defeats in your last 11 games I'd say the A-Z of Championship grounds is safe in your hands right now bud? We have won 4; drawn 1 and lost 6. We might borrow it but we don't need it as much............just yet? Seriously Albert, are you worried or do you think you will replace Ba, or will Cisse step up now? If we don't bring in a bit of guile and pace I'm concerned but not worried, however, an injury to Fletcher would spell disaster, so cover there too.
On a serious note I'm not worried yet. I'm gonna judge after the window shuts. Were both lucky cos theres a canny few ****e teams around at the mo. I think Cisse will step up big time. When he got his goal on Weds I saw summat I haven't seen for a bit... Real team spirit. The whole team surrounded him in a mass huddle. I wish Ba well but I think he may have had a bit of a negative impact on team morale. Time will tell but a PL without us and yous is a weaker league indeed.
Well it would be the neck end of 80k people down if we werent kidda. QPR, Reading and Villa/Wigan my favs for the drop. I hope. Lol
