So your scores and predictions please? We've had the beating of Arsenal recently and their team seems to get weaker with every passing transfer window. However the Gunners are still a classy looking side and not to be taken lightly. ML is likely to rotate our squad with the Capitol One semi's coming up so: Likely line-ups Score COYS! me: 2-1 swans Vorm Davies/rangel/Williams/Chico Britton/Ki Dyer/Pablo/Routs Graham I think Michu could be rested along with Kemy. we might even see Monk in place of Chico for this one. what do the Jacks think?
i like the goons so i hope they win.........saying that i just hope its an end 2 end game whatever the result good luck lads
think it will be an Arsenal win. If we beat them then it will prove to me the players were looking ahead to this game and not looking after prem buisness by putting a poor villa team to the sword. Im sure it will be a great game whatever the result, i just wish the Swans can acheive prem status and stay in a cup,if we can do that we could make a really fist of things .Prem survival is the most important thing for me though.
I expect Arsenal will be gunning for The Swans, and Wenger will put a strong team in the field. I'm not sure how M.L. will view the tie, especially with the Chelsea double header coming up. I think Arsenal will get to the next round, but it may take a replay to achieve it. More World wide exposure, and some TV money,so "every cloud ...",etc.
I think we will beat them. This is a cup game - and everyone agree's it's not as important as the league for us. For this reason I think there isn't a fear of losing the game - and I hope that leads to us playing without fear. We beat them at home last season with RVP, beat the, away this season without RVP - why should anyone think we can't beat them at home again. Apparently we have a better team this season and they are not as strong..... Swans victory.
dunno what you get over your way vetch but we only get the fa cup on setanta while all pl matches are on foxtel, even having setanta(which i have) dont think the swans game will be live meaning i will need a stream
Priority wise right now this match comes third behind firstly retaining our prem status and secondly doing well on Wednesday against Chelsea in the league cup. Saying that we'll no doubt all be hoping that we can beat the Gooners on Sunday as a home win would boost the players confidence after drawing so many lately at the Liberty. The last thing we need is a replay at the Emirates or any injuries to our squad. Score 2-1 Swans.
How come you can still get tickets for this FA Cup Arsenal tie? Have the plastic run out of money? Bloody disgraceful that there are still even tickets in the West Stand!.................. We will put out a strong team, you can be sure of that, but will we have a full staduim?.................
This is a game we must play our strongest side as the league survival is almost there and we still have the second half of the season to go...Another good cup run boosts confidence and we should take advantage of being at home and where we are in the league. If we were fighting a relegation battle then fair enough that must come first but we will get enough points with no problem so we should go for the FA cup as well as the League cup or go as far as we can in both anyway....
I know we have got to the semi final of the League cup, Capital one if you like, but surely the FA Cup is a bigger prize? I see Laudrup making sure of both, he has demonstrated very well how to use and get the best of our squad, matter of fact, he's the first manager I can ever remember to utilise the squad correctly! That's why we will always field a strong team every game, regardless of the rotation! Laudrup is a legend.................
Musty, the game was switched to Sunday,13.30 our time.It will go out live but I don't know who will be showing it.
i got 3 tickets last night, not everyone without a season ticket is a plastic.....although i do confess to taking 2 with me.
what a crock of crap. I don't have a season ticket. I was there when we beat Hull to survive. I was there when we played wrexham in the last game at the Vetch. I've supported my local team ever since I got into football, Yet I'm plastic? Whatever.
