All things aside, whos in need of praise

Went for Anita and Perch. Anita as I highly doubted him after a few games but he has entirely proved me wrong. Perch because I never question if he's trying or playing to his potential. Its a rare game where you highlight him as being one of the best or worst players for us nowadays, he just keeps chipping in with decent performances and if others did the same we'd be a few points better off. Compare him with Tiote who has blown hot and cold so far this season, occassionally brilliant and other times a passenger.

Ba would have been my choice previously and Ben Arfa is worth a mention.

 

Anita, looking more and more a class act, phenominal work rate, and for a shorty (same size as me) puts it about too. Really looking forward to see him play with Cabs, think that could prove to be a fantastic partnership.

Honourable mentions:

Marv..great goin forward and begining to show a little more commitment when he needs to get back and defend.

Obertan.. seemingly replaced by another cloned alien last few games, as he is going past players, tackling!!!, upped his 'not bad cross' from 0% to 30%, and actually being able to shoot on target.

Bigi: for a young lad he is shining (relativley speaking). ATM I would put him in the team before Chieck, He gets knacked pretty quickly, can get skinned etc etc..but he is learnign his trade. that said, he can tackle, gives 110%, pass, has pretty good vision and is always looking forward when on the ball. He has all the attributes to become a 'good un' (plus I genuinley like him as a player, which helps forgive the errors)

 

ME! for making the 250 mile round trip to watch them get beat!

and it is clear tiote doesnt have 1 fan out there thinking he still has what it takes ot be one of the best DM in the world

 

Don't you think it's amazing that as the poll stands, Tiote has no votes ! Not so long ago he would have been off the scale by now. Just goes to show how quickly things can change with a players form and the fortunes of a club.
I think we will miss him now he has gone to the ACON, because as they say, form is temporary and class is permanent. However, what l won't miss is holding my breath every match, waiting to see if he gets through it, without another suspension or red card. He has looked angry and frustrated of late, so maybe it's a good thing that he can go off to Africa and take his frustrations out over there.
