Judging by the gossip, we're getting our summer transfers sorted out early - first Holtby, now Moussa Sissoko. We'll be playing 4-2-3-1 for sure next season if those deals are sealed.

Hey, we have ITK's talking to Holtby and Huntelaar on buses and confirming we've already signed him. The only reason this hasn't been officially announced yet is because they were making it up
if we seal some of these deals in Jan HBIC, you'd have to question whether Bale would want to leave just yet? We could do enough this month to secure a CL place, he's just had a kid, the club has a brand new training complex and most importantly, he's settled. RM have had a mare this season. If i was in his position, i'd be considering giving it another year.

I think your ITK's get their information from the same places as our ITK's I swear some of the rumours start from lazy hacks reading not6O6. We thought about starting a rumour on the Arsenal board, just to see if any of the dodgy website's started running with it . . . might be a fun experiment.
It's crazy, I can't believe the fact that so many people on Twitter/ Football forums etc actually believe their lies as if it's gospel.
Adding onto my last post, about a year ago, me and a few others thought we'd see how a fake story from a forum could develop, so I wrote an article about how Spurs were set to sign Zlatan Ibrahimovic (think SpursDisciple may remember this) and the amount of attention it generated from other boards was insane, I think I even saw people on Twitter talk about it too. It just shows that complete bullshit can spread so easily.
We did that last year with Ibrahimovich and it got picked up widely, despite some killjoys never wasting an opportunity to repeat that it was entirely made up.
If I'm honest I don't know but as I said, it definitely got people on Twitter talking. I remember just sitting back smiling at how people were genuinely excited over it. I should've felt bad... But it was too funny.
It doesn't surprise me. To be honest though, I think us fans are partly to blame for all the bluster and guff surrounding transfer gossip. We're so desperate to leap at any scraps of news on potential transfers and we'll talk about it endlessly. The two-bob media outlets must thrive on suckers like us
Wouldn't Damiao be easier to sign now than in the summer, as they finished 10th and missed out on the Copa Libertadores? Still won't bloody happen though, of course.
