According to BBC at lunchtime Joe Cole had all but completed his move to West Ham.

The way Liverpool go about their business is quite unbelievable.

Never really had a chance at Arsenal and was very highly thought of before he joined them.

Adds competition and cover to Carrol and Cole.

Rickie Lambert was never an option until the summer anyway. No way you were ever gonna sell this month. I doubt we have even asked to be honest.

Carrol has already played games for Liverpool and West Ham this season so can't play for a third.

So either he stays with us or we send him back/Liverpool recall him.

There was an interview yesterday where Allardyce said he expects a lot more from him second half of the season so I would be very surprised if he doesn't stay.

Will have to play much better if David Gold will go anywhere near 17m for him though.

 

Doubt WHU asked about Lambert. Everyone knows we would never consider an offer as he is scoring, we are just outside the relegation zone and we are not desperate for money. Would make no sense unless we already had a super duper striker lined up and even then fans would be unhappy.
