Conveniently forgetting everything that happened before 10 years ago. Well done. Changing the kit from white to red, any sort of red, would result in a mass exodus of fans. Without the core fan base, no amount of marketing will fill the ground as no player will want to go to a club with no character and plastic fans don't wish to support a team that doesn't play well. End of the day I can't see Cardiff going that far under these owners, so your change of kit will have been in vain.

That's the bit that amuses me about all this. Some sad sacks seem to think the club you follow with somehow reflects you as a person. They tend to be the same sad sacks that choose a club rather than accepting the one God blessed them with. The rest of us are happy to have the good times/bad times and days out with the lads. We don't need a comfort blanket. For some weaker willed, social inadequates, the clear and simple truth that Leeds United was totally scrapped six years ago is far too much to personally bear as it kills the only bits of the second tier club they felt able to use to fill the void in their life. Perhaps slack alice sir, you could gain from looking in that mirror. .

Dutch Mountain Dog! Save yourself the effort fella. There's an age old idiom, "There's none so blind as those who will not see." I'm affraid this is the case with the most vocal on ths site. No wonder the better posters don't respond enough and debate good subjects.
See, just because you try to deny the clear and simple fact that the leeds United with the golden share that allowed them in the league, wasn't the same one that had players and no share, does not gain you any kudos. in fact it makes you look slow on the uptake or deluded. It's not an obsession with leeds, I see it as missionary work to help those less fortunate types that fear standing on their own merits and hunt a vicarious glory that's in reality a sham. I can see how the truth of that must hurt, but you'll be better just accepting it in the long run rather than hoping that repeating a lie makes it become the truth.
