Could it be the thunderbird puppet? http://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/2892...wants-newcastle-exit-to-join-san-lorenzo-says Collocini - wants out! I'm going to finish myself off! Wish he played for us!
if true i don't think anyone saw that coming. at least he's not ditching them for thirty pieces of silver. is it his hometown club or something then?
To be fair, Pardew is a proper ****, would you want him as your boss? I'd rather go to Argentina to live than answer to that ****ing clem.
I posted a thread at the end of last year stating that Pardew has always started well at clubs as manager, had one major season totally out of the blue and then ****ed it all up in his 3rd season. Pardew is a ****ing slime ball of a bloke and makes my skin crawl just looking at him. The way he tries to make himself out to be one of the lads by over pronouncing the players first names, as if he were best pals, makes me vomit. I think he is going all out to put their EPL status in jeopardy as a matter of historical fact. Where is my little barcode bitch when I need him to trawl through my posts and find it? Lol
Funny you should say that mate, there's a mass orgy going on, over on their board about Remy being linked with them
TBH, if this is true it just about sums up all that is wrong with the game, he was happy enough to sign the contract & is now trying to rescind it? Well then, that make him an arsehole imo. They should stick the **** in the stiffs & let the Argie bastard rot. It's exactly this kind of blase attitude that is ruining the game. Unfortunately, the vast majority are the same. That's why I have a kind of respect for folk like Mat Letissier.
Think that's exactly right Billy - one question - how many walks of life do managers get paid less than the people they manage?? Certainly not many. Top manager in the game Sir Alex Ferguson is on a reported £6.5m basic wage (£511k per month or £127500 ish a week) - Wayne Rooney is on a basic of reportedly £8m a year or £666k per month or £151k ish per week. This doesn;t include bonuses for either of them but I know for certain that the people I work for that manage me get paid more than I do - yet in football it is the players which get paid more??
Yep & his loyalty to Southampton was unquestionable. How true you are there. I can only think of one.
I think Le Tissier bottled it personally. He preferred to to be the big fish in a small pond rather than play for one of the planets biggest clubs and win trophies. My guess is he knew he wasn't up to the task of playing for a big club week in week out under that spotlight and opted for the backwaters of the south coast. I think Shearer was exactly the same when he picked the mags over Utd. He knew he could be the 'man' in NE1 and be hero worshiped without any pressure. If you are supposedly one of the best at your trade then you should want to ply that trade at the very highest level like Lineker, Rush, Hughes etc all did before them overseas and a host of players have at the top, top clubs. Just my opinion like.
Generally managers get paid more but its not exclusive to football: Managers in the NHS get paid less than doctors Barristers Clerks get paid less than the barristers (as do many of the judges) Council leaders and even the PM get paid less than many of the business leaders they have to 'manage' There's a few but they're almost exclusively public sector or situations where the person doing the managing is less qualified than the people doing the job. Football (and some other professional sports) are the only exception to that I can think of. ps. As for the point of the article, the source is easily ignorable. If the same source was linking us with a good player then yes some fans would get carried away but most wouldn't and even those that did would do it despite the little voice at the back of their head screaming bullshit - all fans like to believe crap now and again.
