To be fair Andy Dawson has played 500 games at LB. I'm sure Dungeon will be able to learn as much from Dawson, if not more than he would from Bruno Berner.

I'd take Lloyd Dyer in a flash. He'd be a cheap option to have on the left wing and we haven't got a single left-footed winger at the moment.

As for the defence I'm becoming less and less bothered about Gerrard, weird since he was our POTY but still, I'd be fine with the other 3 and then Cooper for cover.

It's not about how slow Howard is. How many times has he played a full game in the last two season?

Dawson isn't crap, he's hacked it in the Premiership for two season. How many games has Berner played in the Prem?

Like I say we have a number of targets and to be hosest out of Chester (who is ours), Gerrard, Ayala and Hobbs, Hobbs is bottom of the pile.

Based on his twitter he was great frineds with guzan who loved his time here. Based on his twitter, he's enjoyed his time here. If we are basing this on twitter your post is make belief as Bullard doesn't have twitter and ashbee hasn't posted anything for a while now. So my question to you is, why with the bullshit fairytales?

Calm down love, I was just saying, reading Gerrard and Ashbee's comments earlier in the season I got the impression they were good friends and that Gerrard was in that group as it were. There were a lot of "Me, Ant and Bully" posts on Ash's twitter. Just the impression I got, I could be well off, but I've always got the feeling from Gerrard, on Twitter and in the traditional media, that he wasn't interested in staying after his loan spell was up.

Ah well if you said "i had the impression...." from the start I wouldn't have as much of a problem with it. The way you word your comments sounds as though you base them on facts so I felt compelled to prove you wrong

I did say "This is based solely on his Twitter"...

    Nevertheless, I accept your apology.

Mine was also based on twitter you blithering imbecile. The difference is, mines correct and yours is another poor attempt at a wum.

P.S. I'm sorry if my last did sound like an apology. By no means did I mean to make it sound like one :)

I never said yours wasn't... There was no attempt at a "wum" from me, I'd quite like Gerrard to stay, I just get the impression he doesn't want to.

TWF you really need a new identity. You can't say anything at the moment without being a twat, **** or Leeds fan.

There's no need for language like that, in future can you please use the more acceptable L**ds?

I personally really hope we do a deal for Hobbs (albeit with the caveat of a decent price). I like him and think, alongside a good partner who perhaps is better with the ball and more technically gifted (Ayala for instance), he could be a very worthwhile addition to the defence.

I wondered how long before someone made a joke about this.

Maybe we should get onto Maltese Mick about including L**ds in the swearing filter?

Good call on Lowton....a very good player by all accounts. The blunts here in sheffield are desperate to hold onto him.

You're absolutely right, I play CB too and Chester is the most accomplished. Gerrard is a natural leader and scores goals but Chester isn't as good an asset in any other position. NP has to pair him with Ayala or Hobbs or Gerrard.

Chester would be one of the first names on my teamsheet alongside Mannone, Rosenior, Stewart & Fryatt.
