I always use to slate PL teams that wouldn't take the cup seriously because they wanted to gaurentee survival. Now we're in their shoes though, I'm not so sure. Would definately take survival over a final apperance.
Chelsea v Saints rearranged for 16th Jan 7.45pm kick off. However if we draw on Saturday the replay will take place then so will have to be rearranged again!
Don't agree. He was regularly making runs, getting in behind the back four. He looked a constant threat to me, just that lack of match practice meant he fluffed the very few opportunities he had. Point is, he kept getting into space, and with a run in the team, he'll get the chance to show us what he can do. One for the long term, hopefully.
I think Mayuka is the just the sort of player who could get on the end of Ramirez' killer through balls once he has had a chance to get some proper match time in. Whether he then scores or knocks it back for Rickie etc. is irrelevant, but we need someone like him in the squad. Lee could also do that sort of job.
Looking forward to this one lads 4500 Chelsea fans coming to town and more in the home end... I really want a win but it will be tough against you guys as you're a good side.
