I actually want us to do well in the FA Cup as we have got a remarkable history in THE FA CUPPP ..... We as supporters all cherished the cup final days when we were younger - from breakfast with both teams to the coach ride to Wembley with both teams (and we would become a supporter of one of the finalists for a day) - THE GAME and then the presentation of the cup Marvelous , jumpers for goalposts and all that. Can you imagine belonging to a team with NO FA cup final history ? , How pitiful can that be ? - Hey I'll give you a question or 2 on that subject Q1 How many teams in the Premier League AND The Championship have Never appeared in FA Cup Finals Q2 Name the Prem teams........ 1 ? 2 ? 3 ? 4 ? Q3 Name Both the Championship teams 1 ? 2 ? Good Luck Ps ..... there will be a prize of triangular fkn corner flags for the correct answers
damn ive always been half right all my fking life..........,.reading qpr?.....i know i got swansea and wigan right cos they never won fking ziltcho
did they dude,i must have missed that cup final somehow .........tbh i dont bother with tha milk cup final unless my team is in it <wink> fk me it was hull>>>>>i knew they were sh.it bu not that .sh.i.t
Ryan Jackson not available to play against us...thank goodness for that! TEAM NEWS Macclesfield will be without defender Ryan Jackson, who starts a three-game ban after being sent off. Striker Matthew Barnes-Homer is a doubt with fitness concerns so Amari Morgan-Smith or Peter Winn could come in. Cardiff manager Malky Mackay looks set to make changes and could leave out goalkeeper David Marshall, striker Craig Bellamy and captain Mark Hudson. Midfielder Stephen McPhail has not played since the opening day of the season and could return to the side. MATCH FACTS Head to head • This is only the sixth meeting of the sides, with Cardiff holding a 3-2 lead over Macclesfield. • Their most recent clash was in the second round of the League Cup in September 2005, when Cardiff won 2-1 at Ninian Park. • All the other matches were fourth level league games; they have never met in the FA Cup. Macclesfield Town • Macclesfield are appearing in the third round for the 10th time, and the second season in succession. They have never progressed beyond this stage. • The match against Cardiff is one of three third round clashes between a Blue Square Bet Premier club, and one from the Championship. • The Silkmen lie 81 places lower than the Bluebirds in the pecking order. Cardiff City • Promotion-chasing Cardiff go into this tie on the back of a four-match winning sequence in the Championship, which has helped establish a five-point cushion at the top of the table. • The only club from outside England to have won the FA Cup (in 1927), and the 2008 runners-up to Portsmouth, have made a third round exit to top-flight opposition in each of the last two seasons. • They have knocked out non-league opponents on the last nine occasions they've been drawn against them, and were last humiliated by such a club in the first round in November 1994 when Enfield of the Isthmian League registered a 1-0 home win.

Interesting question for you bleary eyed readers, moist with anticipation awaiting today's game (not only Minxy): If Cardiff won the Premier League next year, and Swansea won the F.A.Cup also, where would the Charity Shield be played folks? You might have to research this one!
