Who ever we sign is ok by me because STEVE BRUCE Knows what he Is doing .. if it's FC in a city shirt why the **** would anyone have bad feelings towards him ? I wouldn't be surprised if it was bullshit from duffen that he was going to sign for city last time. Fact is we are just going to improve under the Allams and Steve Bruce.
Reading kept getting linked with forwards. Read today they're after Arshavin loan and are making offers for Graham and Hopper. So what about a bid for Adam Le Fondre? Never really thought much of Noel Hunt.
Brilliant .... Great post .... That's if Sunderland stay up of course ..besides city fans had been singing that FC was a greedy bastard so not surprised how he celebrated
Why is it, that all our transfer deals tend to drag on for ages, we never seem able to go out, put a bid in and get players signed. The longer the deals take, I always get a feeling that something is wrong and the deal will collapse, has meyler actually signed yet ?
Well perhaps his dad has come to understand that it would be better to be a legend with us than a sub at Sunderland. It certainly sounds like we have a good chance at signing him.
Surely there must come a time in a professional footballers career, that playing regularly every saturday and starting matches must become a priority, if the salary figures banded around are correct, then surely any premier league player must be able to bank 2-3 million away to live on later in life and still be able to drop down to the championship and live comfortably on 20 grand a week.
He was not as prolific here as people think. In his last 8 games for us he only scored one goal and missed quite a few sitters.
15 in 34 is really quite impressive if you compare it to some of the other names people want e.g. Steve Davies.
Pretty certain Meyler is a done deal and the paperwork only held up because other elements (FC &/or Elmo) are being negotiated. Assem is a shrewd man and will invest extra if he sees the right return and this would bring the right return. A combined deal would be right for MON as he could move quickly on his own targets.
Fraizer Campbell joined Sunderland over us - no doubt the offer was strong and no doubt he rated Steve Bruce / Niall Quinn ahead of Duffen / Brown.... The only ****e that was spouted was by his dad not him. He celebrated because we gave him ****. Prior to these events he was instrumental in getting s to the premier league for the first time ever What on earth is wrong with any of the above actions/ behaviour? I do not understand the 'I don't know if I want FC in black and amber' Stop feeling sorry for the fact he chose a bigger club with a better set up than us back then - those may well be the reasons he chooses us this time...
I just signed him for Brighton on Fifa for £1,100,000 because his contract was ending in the Summer...even though real life is nothing like Fifa, wonder if we could get him on a cheap deal? especially if we can get Meyler in and have the pair for about £3? 1.5 each?
With his contract ending in 6 months I dont think we will need to spend 1.5 to get Campbell. I would think something more in the 600 to 700 thousand range.
If any of you are unsure whether you want Fraizer in a City shirt, get your wembley DVD out and watch him put the ball on Deano's toe end.
