I do have to agree on the norwich goal music bit here. Probably the only ground where it works and sounds alright. Plust maybe middlesbrough, especially the 4-3 FA Cup game a few years back. When the hull fans started doing it on their own after we scored it was priceless!

The post horn gallop back then. It's our traditional song which we play when the players come on at the start of the game and at half time

I dont think goal music can work in an open stadium. I can see it working in a sport that is more fast paced and with an indoor stadium since the noise can be deafening. It works fine in hockey for instance.

    Latest update:

no no no no no no no no **** NO

Though, for some reason, I like Norwich's goal music. Even though I detest the idea. It somehow seems to work there, likely as they are a 'small' club.

I don't understand how so many clubs have goal music, I don't know anybody who actually likes it.

For that reason, it is scary that it could happen. It is the sign of a small club, and generally just bizarre - the one time you don't need any sort of catalyst for atmosphere is when a goal is scored! Also, particularly embarrassing after consolation goals, disallowed goals and well... all goals.

Anyone who 'enjoys' music after goals is a severe ****** who may derive greater enjoyment from firework displays than football.

**** off away from Hull City.

    YOU ARE NOT WANTED .

If we're looking for an incentive to try and make us score more goals, this isn't it.

It appears that its something like 126 - 3 against having goal music. Looks pretty conclusive to me so far. Lol.

I remember reading something a while back about the KC and one of the regulations in the long list was "No goal music shall be played when the home team scores." or something to that effect. If somebody could pull the list up that'd be grand, I'm pretty sure I didn't dream it; it was released shortly before the team moved in to the stadium but I remember reading it online, in fact somebody linked it on here last year but I can't seem to find it online.

The Rick Skelton poll on having Goal music: (as of 19:17 GMT)

    Yes - 4
    No - 139

I think the answer is clear.
