I don't care what anyone else thinks about him, he's a pleasure to watch on the pitch. I love his enthusiasm for football and his outstanding work-rate to match. He also has tons of quality, he can be frustrating when he constantly runs with the ball, but that just shows his confidence, to him, running with the ball is not a risk.

Most exciting player I've seen at Liverpool FC in my life time bar none. Just glad he plays for us.. I just can't get enough. <ok>

18 goals so far this season, 15 being in the EPL, couldn't ask for much more from the lad, especially considering he's playing with Downing one side and an inexperienced Sterling on the other.

This thread is based on his enthusiasm for football, and his tremendous quality on the pitch. Let's not let another Suarez thread descend in to mud slinging, let's appreciate the talent this boy has.

He is definitely my favourite player - not because of his dazzling runs, his skills, the numerous nutmegs, the amazing goals - it's because of his intensity, his energy and passion he displays on the pitch.

He doesn't know the meaning of 'rest' or 'lost cause'. I remember when Kuyt was here and we would all praise his work ethic but sometimes felt that he lacked that extra technical quality. Suarez is the type of player I wanted Kuyt to turn into.

I'd say he's even better than the "Liverpool Torres"

If he can maintain this form throughout the season he's going to end up with a **** load of goals. Great to watch and has started to stay on his feet which will give his critics less to moan about although they will always find something.

  7. You about twelve years old? <laugh>

I do love him though, I thinks its great that his passion shine through even when we've already got a game won, like last night when he went mad at Suso and then the lino despite being 3-0 with only injury time to go <laugh>

Let's hope he's with us for a long time. And if he is to leave, let's hope he leaves with dignity ala Alonso. <ok>

If he keeps this up til summer, we'll have alot of Europe's elite sniffing around but they'd be met with one hell of a price tag! Hopefully Luis will give us at least one more full season to see if we can really start improving and climbing the table. He's still young, not even close to his peak yet - which is frightening.

If the way he left Ajax is anything to go by, then I'm pretty certain he'll leave on such terms with us, however I don't want to think about that scenario, it upsets me!

I fully expect him to leave in the summer and I wouldn't blame him one bit. Great great player that could star for the likes of Barcelona with Messi, Iniesta and co.

If he leaves, he won't be cheap. 50mill at least for him. The guy is top quality, but I wouldn't sell him even for that amount.

He's not going anywhere in the Summer. If a team offered silly money we should still say no, if we are serious about building and getting back to where we belong then he's going to be the type of player we need.

This. I said last season that if he stopped falling over at the first stiff breeze he could have a Ronaldo esque impact for you lot.

    I hate being right :emoticon-0106-cryin

Correct! would be a serious case of one step forward and 39 steps back down a spiral stoney staircase!

Already ****ed, I have put him into my fantasy team... which means he won't score many goals from now on. <ok>

After last year I think we all knew he could score goals (he scored a ridiculous amount for Ajax) so there was no doubt in that. I think last year nothing seemed to go right for him, then he had that long period out and I think now he started scoring and has just carried on that confidence and is getting that luck that last year he wasn't getting. For example his 1st goal yesterday would have probably hit the keepers legs and stayed out last year, but yesterday is sneaked through and into the back of the net.

Still think he sometimes needs to take the better option (like the one yesterday he probably should have squared) but might be that we never have enough other options for him and hopefully Sturridge will help that sort of things.

I don't think he'll ever change the way he plays.
He does, I think pass it a bit more often than he gets credit for, but usually faced with a ruck of defenders he just runs into them and somehow comes out of the other side with the ball. I've no idea how he does that, and I don't think he does either- it's just instinctive.
It's that unpredictability that makes him successful, imo, and I don't want to see him try to change it.
Sometimes it doesn't come off and you tend to think "why didn't you pass it?" but I think he'd be ultimately less effective if he were any different.
