Will the return of the Mud Monsters ruin the KC pitch?

    I remember watching Hull warm up at an away game once and they churned up the edge of the touchline something awful by doing some tiny-step-fast-foot-running. or something.

    Either way they made a mess... except for Deano who mostly skipped the warm up, his dad must be a groundsman or something.

    Good point but it deteriorated noticeably since the Huddersfield game and I doubt that one person would be responsible for this.

    I know nothing about rugby so please excuse the noob question; Are all shared grounds crap? Or does this come down to the grounds keeping itself?

    Ground sharing obviously contributes to the downfall of a pitch but there are many factors to consider and groundsman will be of differing qualities, as in any other profession.

    There are varying degrees of terribleness but they're all pretty damn bad. Essentially it comes down to the very simple matter of the pitch not getting a rest for 3 months or indeed the usual 2 week break between games.
