At the end of the day, Amos needs to play football. He was doing pretty good until he had a bit of a nightmare game then his confidence went up his arse. Imo, he could become a very good keeper in the future but Hull City have to think of whats best for Hull City so its ta ta from me and thanks for the memories. Anyway, I wonder how Mannone is enjoying the bench at arse again ? Might be worth a call
He had a loan spell at Oldham in the 2010/11 season, but I think Fergie would see it as a major step backwards if he was to drop down again now.
It could be a rehash of the HDM scoop. I'm not sure how he finds the time. http://www.thisishullandeastriding.co.uk/-Paul-Robinson-17710490-detail/story.html
Royal Antwerp now play in the Belgian Second Division, which isn't very good at all. He'd be better at somewhere like Doncaster or Tranmere, who are top of League 1.
west brom have said he can go apparently. dont know how he could fit into our wage structure right now tho. i guess he is built for leicester
West Brom want a reported £4m for him, unlikely to be that high but we won't spend more than a mil on another midfielder when we don't need to strenghten that area. Doubt Leicester will sign him either, more likely to go to another prem team or stay at West Brom until the summer.
The transfer market is like a game of poker and you have to read between the lines. Consider: Jol wants rid of Stockdale, but he wants the best price. SB has made an offer but Jol thinks he can get more so he sticks Stockdale in the Fulham goal to suggest he might not be ready to sell him (all bluff). SB needs a counter-bluff so he makes a few tentative enquiries then through a third party lets RH think he's looking at Robinson. RH blast it out as a big scoop, hopefully Jol gets worried he'll lose the deal completely and calls SB to agree to his original offer - Job done.
Schwarzer picked up an injury which is why Stockdale has been playing, it's a hell of a bluff to play when Fulham aren't exactly in a rich vein of form, especially as Stockdale was at fault for argubly both goals against Swansea (certainly the second).
Or Fulham's first two choice keepers were injured so Jol had no choice but to play Stockdale in net, he had a nightmare to massive mistakes, Bruce rings to lower offer, Jol wants original offer so then through a third party SB lets RH think he's looking at Robinson. RH blast it out as a big scoop, Jol gets worried and calls SB to agree the new lower offer!
Jol clearly believes Stockdale is his second string keeper, he's under no pressure to get rid of him or lower the price as he isn't on high wages. Sorry mate but i think you've read too much into this one.
