To be fair, no one expected rafa to win four games in a row and thrash Leeds. He inherited our lack of CMs and strikers. I don't like him but our only disappointment so far was the second half performance v West ham. We lost v QPR but the west ham and corinthians results were more painful imo
We can stomach one defeat in 34 years. Missing out on the once-in-a-lifetime world championship was very disappointing. Good to have all the Rangers fans back. We really thought our noisy neighbours had given up when we saw all the empty plastic seats in the away end!!!
Heh heh, he means "on the bright side the loss came at the right time; to invest in January". To be honest though I don't think you guys will overreact and sign any players that you didn't have lined up already, besides January is not the time for panic buying. You've been in good form before the QPR game, and you've bought Ba which should help out in your only problem area. On a related note, we always hear that Ba has dodgy knees... Is your medical team quite highly regarded? Are you confident that they'll keep him as fit as possible? Over the years you seem to have a very decent injury record as far as I can remember, it's usually Arsenal or United who have the worse injury records out of the big teams.
Every time RA buys a striker it causes so much trouble. Sheva's buy cost Chelsea big time in the end.
