Looks like blatant dive to me. As for Forster's booking, absolutely ridiculous. The Ref never even checked to see if the ball was on the spot, and they wonder why we complain about them.

thought it looked. soft at the game , seemingly Kelvin Wilson on twitter said it was a stick on !!! My complaint was Mulgrew booking for our first foul . Thought today was a good game , mind you there was coverage of a pub game with 22 men still feeling the affects of the new year bevy , covered by espn on in the pub on the way to the game after seeing that anything had to be an improvement .

Aye I was in the Pub with my mate and it was on, first time I've seen them play live for a good while now and they looked awful.

Dev , I actually can't name any of their players now other than the animal Black . The last two games Lennon use of the sub has weakened our team , going 4-2-4 helped Motherwell , Sammy was having an off day , mind you he set up the goal .Looking forward to the winter break , nae football or bevy until jan 19 th

Harry , I thought Sammy had a great game. He was our only player to turn
Their defence and create chances. His early goal looked ok to me . If we had
Luck we would have won easily I reckon Wilson was been sarcastic.

    'tis.

    Four fouls, four bookings.

    Farcical.

Although, Forster's booking wasn't for a foul, though.

So, could be that we got one foul given with no booking (must've been offside) as one foul generated two bookings <doh>

So every Celtic player that fouled a Motherwell player, got booked for the foul? Forgive me if I don't believe that.

Celtic’s disciplinary record against Motherwell could land the club with an unlikely world record after picking up four yellow cards from four fouls!

Steven McLean was the man in charge of yesterday’s match against Motherwell with the visitors also receiving a penalty although Kelvin Wilson avoided any further punishment for bringing down Jamie Murphy in the penalty box. Charlie Mulgrew found his name in McLean’s book just past the hour mark for a clear foul that probably deserved a word of warning but no-one else in the stadium expected to see a card.

Four minutes into the second half Beram Kayal found himself in a similar situation as the referee flashed another card at the Celtic midfielder with Henrik Ojamaa booked in the 55[SUP]th[/SUP] minute for a foul on Kelvin Wilson.

The main card display was to come in the 75[SUP]th[/SUP] minute when Murphy went down in the penalty box with McLean pointing straight to the spot. Victor Wanyama picked up a yellow for dissent while Forster was also booked for pointing out that Tom Hateley had placed the ball in front of the penalty spot.

Without even looking at the position of the ball McLean booked the Celtic keeper who followed up his card by saving Hateley’s penalty. Two minutes from the end of regulation time Keith Lasley was booked for fouling Mulgrew with the visitors picking up two bookings for seven fouls against Celtic’s four from four.

McLean does prefer to referee by showing cards to players, in his previous SPL clash on December 26 between Kilmarnock and Hearts he handed out two yellow cards to Kilmarnock from 11 fouls with Hearts collecting three from seven fouls. Celtic’s discipline this season has rarely been a problem even in the Champions League when they’ve found themselves without possession for long periods.

In the 2-1 win over Barcelona Celtic committed nine fouls with only Miku picking up a yellow card, in the Nou Camp Celtic committed 10 fouls with James Forrest the only booking.

Forster got booked for saying that a ball that wasn't on the penalty spot, wasn't on the penalty spot.

Wanyama was booked for dissent for the same foul and Wilson wasn't.

Kayal had two fouls and was booked for the last one, Mulgrew was booked for his only foul.

So, out of the four fouls, Kayal committed two of them, Mulgrew one and the other was the penalty.

Forster and Wanyama both booked at the penalty <doh>

Take Kayal out and the team managed to get 3 bookings for 2 fouls in 90 mins <doh>

Yep, I know, but the way it was being said, it was implied that for each foul commited, there was a yellow card shown, which wasn't the case.

And now Wilson has been found guilty and received a 2 match ban despite the Dundee forward admitting it was an accident . Why do we bother appealing the whole thing , it is a stitch up .

Dunno if I'd say a stitch-up but it's worth mentioning that the three most high profile appeals have failed - Langfield, Pascali and Wilson.

I think Wilson's was subjective, he appeared to throw his arm back at the Dundee player and you always run the risk of getting carded for that.

Mulgrew, Wanyama and Lustig can all fill in at CB.
