Not very often Norwich City lead anything if you listen to the bigots on this station Apart from Stan Collymore, who does make some sense. http://www.talksport.co.uk/sports-n...sunderland-and-stoke-chase-celtic-star-188476
looks like they've seen hughton at the celtic match and assumed he's after hooper. we might be, don't get me wrong - i think he's a very similar player to danny graham - i like both of them. graham will probably be a bit cheaper though
I like Graham, He always seemed to me a bit of Square peg in a round hole at the Swans with their style of play and I always felt that he would suit us more. Especially as we are now playing with 2 DM's and adopted the 5 man midfield with one up top. If he costs less than Hooper then Graham would be my prefered option, it's always a gamble taking players from the SPL as you never really know how good or bad they are!
It can be, but several said that about Whittaker when we signed him. He - when fit, continues to go from strength to strength and has forced goal-machine Rusty to watch from the bench or deputise at centre half.
No idea what will go on but I like that there are a good few rumours flying around, suggests that we are looking to do some business
I know you can get good ones, it's just a bit more of a gamble than buying someone who is already doing it in the league.
expect someone to come from nowhere - remember Howson last January? we probably won't sign any of the players we are currently linked with. agree with Bath though it's giving us a lot more to discuss
I hope this thread can include transfers not involving Norwich but Llorrente (the Spanish Grant Holt) could be moving from Athletico Madrid to Juventus.
talking of the spanish grant holt, the real one is very good friends with danny graham. could that influence any decision?
Apparently Swindon have no money to spend in January, so I can't see Chris Martin moving there permanently in this window. Unless he's done enough to impress another League 1 club, I think he's just going to end up seeing out his contract.
Just put this on the wrong thread so here it is now. Apparently Holloway has denied any link to Butterfield. Perhaps he will be challenging Wes after all? Id like to see him play P'Borough to show how much he has improved with more game time at Bolton.
Butterfield just tweeted "@JLButterfield: Useless journalists #muggingmeoff" sounds like the CP thing was made up. Would like to see him start on Saturday actually
Thoughts? I think he has got to be better than Morison and has more experiance than Kane. Also, its clear he knows where the goal is so id be happy. Only issue is, whilst he is stocky, is he lone striker material?
nomally they would deny it i guess to add, Ian 'the moose' abrahams has tweeted we have agreed a fee. that's the kiss of death then!
what baffles me is that butterfield didn't play more for Bolton. I would have thought he would feature at some point on Saturday
