Same issue as Sharp, plus you can add in the transfer fee they'd want to recoup.

If the Allams want to splash the cash, then David Nugent from Leicester. I'm sure he'd love another go at the Premier League. If they can persuade Austin at Burnley (don't be put off by thinking PL clubs are in for him, that's not necessarily a killer for us, it's the package that's right for his family.) then that'd be perfect.

However, I can see it being a foreigner. Maybe somebody from Brazil or Argentina. Maybe. Or not.

If it was a foreigner I could see it being a German that might help Pro as well as the new guy.

But I think who ever it is plays in England. I doubt SB would risk bringing in another player who would need time to adjust.

I'll be ****ed off if it is, Zigic is just a big freak.

For the record, Mike White has said it may be a Premier League striker and he didn't rule that out. He must've just been saying 'No.' as in 'No. I'm not giving anything away'.

I'm struggling to sleep in anticipation of what is surely going to be the biggest transfer move of the January window ... :emoticon-0158-time:

My money is on one of the Championships Davies (Steve Davies or Craig Davies) Steve Davies being my first choice and Bristol City are said to be having money problems? £40 million debt or something

It would make sense then. Wikipedia says the bought him for £750,000 and he is on a 3 year contract.

I'd be a bit disappointed with Steve Davies, his record of 34 in 161 is hardly impressive and even this season, he's only scored 8, the same as Aluko. The same goes for Craig Davies, 72 in 262, although wiki says he's scored 7 in 7 this season which seems odd, has he been injured or is that just wrong? Between the two, I'd go for Craig but hope it's neither really.

It was Paul Robinson. Not really worth the anticipation. Wanted it to be about a striker.

Not even Humberside would sink that low.

Kylie Minogue it is then ?:smile:

Yes Please. Now that would be nice short term.

Why not Lets splash the cash then ?

We can sign him from Saints, but i doubt that we would want to match his 40k a week wages for starters.

Now this ^^^^^ makes perfect sense. Just perfect for Brady and Elmohamadys crosses.

West Ham are after him. Big Sam about to raid his old club accordining to media reports.

    +++++

Well the Big Humberside news story is.......................BLACKBURN GK PAUL ROBINSON. But then they say that Fulham want him. Now thats hardly breaking news. At least a week old this is. SSN reported it last week ffs. Oh well........ lol.

it appears that from reading here, it was predictable 'not'-news packaged as something grand. as licence fee payers we deserve more from our 'local' radio. The Trinity strikes again!!!!!!!
