I also see that they have delayed any appeal until after the playoffs. Poor Swansea - I reckon they aren't thinking straight. Must be lack of sheep... sorry, sleep.
A bit hilarious to watch QPR fans attack Cardiff fans on the boards all season for "Cheating " , when in fact , it was the Rangers doing the cheating . By the time this one is over , QPR will be " Showing Swansea the money " IMO
Are you trying for a job as a Sun journalist? Let me introduce you to a little thing we like to call 'the facts'.... 1) Cardiff accepted a loan from Ray Ransom, at a time when he was Chairman of Coventry City. Against all the rules, and they are being investigated for it by the FL. However, the FAW don't currently class this as 'third party influence' for some reason. 2) There are other issues surrounding Cardiff's fiscal propriety that are being investigated, not least their apparent lack of willingness to pay their tax bills and PAYE. That's all in the hands of the so-called 'experts'. 3) Moving on to QPR, we were found NOT GUILTY of any third party involvement - when we bought Faurlin, we bought him completely - there was no question of any remaining rights being held by anyone else. The only thing we were found guilty of is a charge of using an unauthorised agent - even though he was a FIFA registered agent, and his credentials were accepted twice by the FA and FL. Result: ã75k fine. Then they threw a charge of 'bringing the game into disrepute' and fined us ã800k for that, although the only thing I can see we maybe did that meets their criteria is that we made the FA look like a bunch of incompetent buffoons. 4) Faurlin himself - he was always properly approved to play by the FA and FL. In writing. Even after we brought the issue to the FA and FL's attention (yes - WE told THEM there might be an issue) They both said that Faurlin was our player and was fully eligible to play for us. 5) Finally, under all of that, the players STILL won the Championship title. Proving that on the pitch, QPR have been by far the best side this season. However, I doubt that you (or your significant other) will stop bleating on - never let the facts get in the way of a good rant. Enjoy your trip to Brighton next season....
West London Willy 1) Have Cardiff broken any rules here - No, end of story we can only work within the rules given (not that QPR would know anything about that) 2) Do your research before you comment, thats old news, all sorted now. Even the Swansea lot have stopped WUMMING about this so expect better from you. 3) You were found guilty of 2 of 7 charges and given a pretty big fine, that implies you have broken rules, breaking rules is cheating, simple. 4) So you bought a player knowing full well their was 'issues' hmmm, a bit ropey to say the least. 5) No argument, I hate QPR, never did before this season but after getting to see what your fans are like have changed my mind this year, never seen a team supporters celebrate with such a lack of grace.
Northolt your such a tool im actually lost for words, your the biggest wum QPR has and your telling people to grow up.
If you are lost for words please go away, cos even though I'm finding you amusing, you're annoying some of the regulars. Good lad run along!
You call me a Badger after all the sheep jokes , seems being a hypocrite knows no bounds at QPR . P.S. A decision just before the end of the season dictates the FA aren't sure about the finer details of the QPR " Dirty Deals " . This is far from over , financially , for you lot . I'll listened to anyone's arguement about Cardiff's dealings through the season , except for QPR , they got their own explaining to do.
Ok, it would appear we cheated as we two of the charges were found to be proven: i) Use of an unauthorised agent. Not an unlicensed one, but a guy who was fully registered with FIFA but not the FA- hardly the crime of the century and definitely did not give us any benefit on the pitch. ii) Bringing the game into disrepute- the full extent as to how we did this is as yet not fully known but is widely believed to relate to overstating the value of Faurlin's transfer. Again, quite a trivial matter and something often done to appease fans. Cardiff, on the other hand, had to have the PFA pay their wages one month to avoid an administration that would have relegated them, have had some somewhat ropey dealings with the chairman of a club in the same league and only paid Motherwell what they had been owed for some time when the case was highlighted due to their signing of Craig Bellamy. Which team has had more benefit on the pitch as a result of their alleged 'cheating'?
Absolutely none, but labelling us as cheats when some of your own club's dealings and financial affairs have been dodgy to say the least is slightly farcical. Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't you need approval from Ray Ranson and/or his company before making transfers?
Exactly, we were guilty of paying late, but we paid everyone and we didnt take the easy route out like so many other clubs and go into admin, we have paid our debts. As for the 2nd point, consider yourself corrected.
The fact remains that it doesn't matter how much Swansea, Cardiff or Mrs Wiggins at No.42 whinge & whine about the result of the hearing. We are Champions, & we are promoted to the Premier league & that is not going to change. If I was them, I'd be putting all my efforts into winning the play offs!
