Makes sense when you're the one who was talking about us <laugh>

No need to be bitter because you've got Stewart Downing.

It's a thread about our rivals. And last week Pienaar was playing against Chelsea.

Newcastle goal would be good right now.

Love how some Chelsea fans are blaming Rafa for rotating the Chelsea squad and not playing Mata/Hazard as if they have replaced them with 2 udner 18 players - but no it's Marin (who was the next German big thing) and Oscar who cost £15mil or so? They should have had more than enough to beat QPR but a great result and puts our 3-0 away win into a bit more context.

Looks like Everton will get the 3 points. Newcastle are 2 points above the relegation zone now... Any chance of a cheeky bid for Ben Arfa or Cabaye?

    Newcastle have lost again.

They're on a really bad run.

I personally didn't see that coming.

    Did anyone else?

Do you bet a lot then?!!

To be fair they have players out.

Losing Ba isn't going to help either.

    Same mate.

    Really struggling.

They're talking about getting relegated on their board!

Think they could be in trouble, don't think they'll get relegated, but losing Ba for £7mil - they need to find another "Cisse" in someone cheap in the Jan window who is going to come in and have a similar impact - something which is difficult to do.

They are missing Cabaye & Ben Arfa - two creative midfielders. I'd take either of those in a heart beat if given the chance.

Can't see them going down but it's mid-table at best for them.

And yeah, they have had several out in recent months.

I was just thinking the same. Both excellent.

    Bog losses to their team.

It could be worse, Senegal could have made it through to the ACON and Cisse would have been out and then Ameobi could have been called up for Nigeria as well and they would have been left with 0 forwards for a month...

Maybe they will bid 35 mill for Carroll!

How is that only a yellow card for Marin? Compare that to the reds that were given to Gibson/Cole it looks ridiculous.

I haven't seen it but Gibson/Cole was rescinded so it can't really be comparable.

True but I'm saying the ref at the time thought those were worthy of a red card... and when you compare it to this tackle which was only a yellow and could have broken the guys leg (studs up straight legged head on) it's amazing how ref's opinions differ so greatly..

It was a definite red the ref bottled it imo

  20. Didn't think they would have a poor a season as this but I didn't expect them to get anywhere near last season either. Probably expected a par with how we're doing at the moment.
