He was immense tonight, absolutely immense. He was also a lot more commanding in his area and defense looked very solid in front of him, don't know why Mbia has gone off the boil so much since the Man U game. We are the Rangers boys!!!!! You Rssss!!!!!! Think Benitez must have read Swords thread before selecting his starting 11. You Rsssssssssss!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes totally agree. Some great distribution and commanded his area superbly.

    Brilliant.

There was nothing he could do with any goal. he hasnt been at fault for a single goal yet, Green has been at fault for 7 or 8 if you count the pre season. Hes let in a clanger every other game.

He should have saved the header having got a hand to it and did you see him drop Gerrards shot which should have resulted in goal number 4. One clean sheet and you lot are going overboard, he hardly had a save to make tonight. Did you see the weak punch or the flukey save with his legs?
Its the defence, the organisation and Chelsea's lack of edge tonight that we should be grateful for!

did he have a save to make???? he came out for countless punches, crosses and his distribution was excellent bar two kicks, made a number of decent saves.

The fact is not one goal has been his fault yet Green lets in an awful goal nearly every game. What "fluky" save are you on about, the Torres one or the one that was deflected? The 1st one was great positioning and the 2nd was a fantastic save. ITs better to punch, no matter how weak than to push the ball in your own net.

You make it sound like Green cocks up every week, his performance at Wigan was brilliant.
I am chuffed with the clean sheet and delighted with the three points but it was more about a collective than the individual between the sticks.
Any excuse to bash Rob Green on this board.......!

He was at fault for a goal in just about every pre season game, Swansea, WBA, Villa and a few more that I cant recall now. Hes a terrible keeper.

He made about 3 outstanding saves tonight. We would be 3 - 0 down before. Was great!

He actually waved to the fans tonight which was special. More interaction with us than seen before,
