I think this thread is totally off-topic and I wonder if the mods might not consider an F1 sub-forum, private for not606 members only, for just this kind of discussion. good Idea, an off topic section for the F1 forumers That wouldnt be ruined by the Football fans like if we put it in the general discussions section. Maybe call it 'the Paddock' or something.
I know on the Watford board they have a sticky post called "The Hornets Nest", which is for any off-topic stuff, I don't think we necessarily need a new board, but just something like that would work well enough. It'd be a bit like the race threads, in that pretty much anything related to the race is put there, and people just comment on what they want, and discussion can grow from the interesting posts. The Paddock, the Motorhome, the Pits, /b, whatever people want really!
If we had just one thread for all off topic conversations wouldnt it just become confusing to which off topic conversation we are talking on?
Possibly, although I guess if when you create a new discussion you post with a title that starts with a number, then everyone replying can just use that number as a reference? Or is that a bit complicated. So user A starts discussion as: 1)OMGWTFBBQ Hamilton iz awesome!!!!!!!!!!! Example reply: 1) Oh god go away LewisWDC New topic post: 2)Peoples favourite driving music etc?
