Im not sure how it works but there is a fair bonus involved for where the players finish, im not concerned about that myself but its a great idea to give the players a nice wedge, which spread over the year would push a player earning 30k a week to perhaps 35k a week which aint bad at all really.

Curtis still had it in him didnt he..<laugh>
Would love to see Laudrup make an appearence at a testamonial game down the liberty!! he is still the dogs bollocks apparently..<cheers>

Now that would be a sight to behold .
Every one needs an incentive ,and before the responses come in "they earn enough already ' it's easy to become complacent both as a team and as individuals, so I don't have a problem with players earning a little bit more above their wages based on performance .

What I don't understand from some, is the fact that they thought we deserved the win!! Do they know that the whole bloody objective of the game is to score goals! and if you don't do that, then you don't win, and by definition don't bloody deserve to win, because you fluffed your bloody lines in front of the bloody goal! And all this Bloody whinging about the bloody ref, and a bloody penalty, gets on my bloody nerves!.....................<laugh>

PS: And we bloody nearly dropped our pants to a bloody dire Villa! Bloody disgrace if you ask me..............

VERY serious! You see, I have seen so many bad times with the Swans that I can scarcely believe where we are at right now. I am hugely enjoying it, yet that enjoyment is tempered with the thought that I never want to go back to those dark old times. Consequently it concerns me when we contrive to throw away games that we should have won. Of course it will happen from time to time but it is happening too frequently this season.

I don't think it would be the case if we had a natural leader in the team. Ash is nominally that but I have my doubts. How often do you hear managers of successful clubs talk about having "leaders all over the pitch", or "a number of leaders"? I don't think we have one and it's about time we did.

Look I'm my own man and give my spin on what I see, if I don't follow the majority and say what I think, that's my burden to cross. I am not criticising your posts phil I appreciate you have a point of view, but don't bloody put down people that don't agree with you!

And mate we scored 2 goals, that was enough for 3 points at Fulham ! And can I just also say that I can say that the ref was bad, I can say we should have a penalty, I don't bloody need your permission to say whatever the **** I like okay!

Now this forum is about debate, if you don't agree with me debate it, not try and belittle me, because phil I won't put with it!

I gather your not bloody happy Phil!!! Neither am I if it helps!! Still annoyed with yesterdays performance. What I did find frustrating at times and it's been creeping into our game for some months now is the showboating in our own penalty area. Routledge trying to do drag backs in the area, etc somebody will do it one days and cost us a goal. Sometimes it's worth putting our laces through the ball to clear it.

Jager lighten up will you, my posts on this thread were not targeted at anyone, and certainly not you, though I've read numerous Jacks whinge regarding the ref, and the penalty, on a few forums, and off line, it's my view too on those that look for excuses, to why we were hypothetically robbed, which is fiction.......<ok>

Same moan about the Ref, from PlanetSwans, but I actually think that over the course of the game he was ok, don't recall MOTD moaning about him either. The fact is, we thought it was easy and switched off! what you should be concentrating on is, Villa must be the worst prem team to have played down here, and we almost lost to them!.................<ok>

Can't believe after the break coming out of the blocks the way we did, our midfield lost it's shape somewhat, and a very poor Villa seemed to pick off our loose ball and walk through easily, at one point I felt sure we would go behind with a second, but just couldn't believe it when it happened. It's time we learnt from lessons like this, and time we showed the lower clubs the same respect we accord the clubs at the top!................<ok>

Watching the game on line, and the father in law asked me how things were going, I tell him I'm getting nervous as we've missed lots of chances and all it takes for a quick breakaway etc and what happens after me finishing my sentence, Villa poxy score.

If we could have stayed 1-0 to half time them I do think we would have pushed on and won. But we gave Villa hope and they started to believe, confidence grew and they thought they could get something out of the game and they bloody well did.
