I will always bang on about this so here goes again, what a opertunety missed yesterday in the clubs attempts to forge a new togetherness? Great crowd and the 3 points achieved, I would have thought the perfect chance for JW and one or two players to pop into the club house after the match, JJ MOTM could have come in and done a Andy Rammell he would have got a great reception. Seem that John has alittle bit to learn about the club after all
those days have passed i think. think a lot of fans would settle for how the players and manager left the pitch showing passion and that they are ready for the fight ahead.
Yes in all fairness you are probably right, but all channels have to be exhausted to get the feelgood factor back at this club, if that means Wardy showing his face once in awhile I would have thought that worth it.
to be honest i thought ward 'missed a trick' as you say, not coming out before the game and walk around the side of the pitch shaking some fans hands and clapping the fans and punching the air with his fist to get the crowd going. thought the atmosphere could have been better. but then again im sure if he did this a few would say they feel it was stupid that he did this instead of in the changing room with the players.
