I rate him and a year ago we would of paid 15 for him. Even if it doesn't work out we don't stand to lose much. A good signing and for once at a decent price.
Chelsea have got the better deal here by far. £7m for Ba and recoup £12m for Sturridge, however, Ba has just ended his career. 5 minutes a game for him now.
Just because Chelsea spent less doesn't mean its bad for us. We've both done well out of it. Ba has the added risk of injury which you also need to factor into the reduced price. Ba gets injured tomorrow badly then that 7 mill is worth **** all!! (Thet get 5 back from Sturridge) Both deals are sensible, good deals.
also feel free to correct me if I'm wrong but I thought that any transfer over 10mil had to be disclosed? Sturridge's transfer fee was undisclosed unless it's 9mil + 3mil based on appearances or something like that

Well my only basis is that I can't think of an undisclosed transfer for a fee larger than 10mil As I said though I'm hardly certain on it
