First4lcfc is bollocks I said last week i heard rumours some clubs were interested Doncaster and Tranmere have been mentioned. I would loan him for 1 month purely to get some form
It's strange that after one attacking signing we suddenly seem to have such strength in depth in this area! Vardy's the oldest of the ones who aren't playing, and in my opinion he's actually at the bottom of the pile, I'm very sorry Vardy. But if he goes on loan he could start getting some confidence, and would make a great League 1 striker. This happening, imo, is the only way we won't sell in the summer.
If he goes to the end of the season then you can't as long term loans have to end in a transfer window. If he goes on an emergency loan (maximum 93 days) then you can recall him on 24 hours notice any time after the first 28 days.
Not sure what to think of this - first the source of the article is about as reliable as flood defences around Tewksbury but also the lad is very different to our other strikers in that he brings tremendous energy etc ... could happen but could also just be a case of lazy journalism i.e Leicester have brought in a strker so they willl want to loan Vardy out ... woods and Vardy with Nugent just behind would be a real handfull for defences at this level - so I'm a little sceptical ..
If Nugent is playing just behind Vardy and Woods are you going 3 in midfield? Can you play Knockaert in a midfield 3 without being overrun?
Not a chance Ricardo I'm afraid. Could only see 3 in attack if Trotter comes in to the club, Knockaert would have to be sacrificed. It looks like Waghorn is going to be playing second fiddle again for a while, which he doesn't deserve on recent displays.
I'm not sure Ricardo to tell you the truth ... but it would remain an option ... as I've posted numerous times, for me, Nugent is not an out-and-out striker ... he almost seems to prefer not being 'the' target man or centre forward... Knockaert is a prodigious talent whilst Marshall has flair but will also track back ... could we afford to let Knockaret have a free roaming role with more limited defensive responsibilities? - yes I think so, provided Vardy and Nugent are given instructions to drop back if and when necessary ... But my prime rationale for wanting to keep Vardy would still be around retaining the flexibility to mix it up when we need to ... I'm a great believer that 'very good' players should be able to fill-in all over the park ...
6 month loan to Preston seems to be the favourite rumour, to be fair it'll probably be good for all parties.
I wouldnt loan him for that long. Just loan him for a month to month basis if we need to. We will need him for the run in
I agree, for the rest of the season on loan is too long, we still need to get him back if we have any injuries
