Three this week, Jakupovic, Chester and Evans... http://www.teamtalk.com/hull-city/8376889/Champ-Top-Men-Tigers-trio-shine
Defence looks strong now and Eldin's presence must be having a positive effect on them. 3 clean sheets in 4 is great stuff. Just need the strikers to pull their weight.
No Leicester players? Alright then. Not like Knockaert scored two beauties, set up another and had at least 3 Huddersfield players' pants down every time he recieved the ball. Not like Chris Wood scored 2 and set up another on his debut, either.
Bit surprised Knockaert isn't on there, as much as I am Elmohammady didn't get in, he was outstanding before that ****er White crocked him.
How does Jak compare to Stockdale? Now I've seen the Jak a fair few times, he seems to be very similar if not better, plus he's a great shot stopper
Huddersfield are a League One team who play ****e football, nobody is going to be impressed with a win against them.
Leeds were even worse than Huddersfield when they played us, but they're not usually that bad. Huddersfield, on the other hand, are utter dogshite and deserve to get relegated.
Joking aside. I agree Knockaert and Woods were two of the best. I dunno who picks the side of the week though. Chester doesn;t do anything spectacular, not enough to highlight him anyway, but he just does his job. Evans scored v Leeds and Jakupovic has kept 3 clean sheets in a week. They might be watching us closely.
There are worse sides in this league. Vaughan, Clayton, Gerrard and Smithies give them a decent enough core. Just the absolute goon of a manager lets them down so much. Yesterday he played Novak on the wing Oh and they also have 8m in the kitty, should they reinvest the Rhodes cash. (They're only two points behind Blackpool who you played yesterday)
They're currently 24th in the form table and that's exactly where they should be, total anti-football, even the Huddersfield fans hate watching Huddersfield at the moment.
He did, the ONE good thing Tom Ince did all game and the Jak palmed it round terrifically for a corner. Wouldnt have seen Gilks making that save to be honest. To be honest, I agree and disagree. I've seen the Jak on 3 occasions now (Leeds, Leicester and Blackpool) and I feel assured with him in goal. However, is it just me; or does he actually not look one bit like a goalkeeper? I keep thinking Jamie Devitt's running out with his gloves on during the warm up! Stockdale is a CLASS keeper there's no doubt about it, but to have them two challenging each other for the number 1 spot can only be a good thing. Even if we do sign Stocko permanently (can't see it happening to be honest now he's actually playing for Fulham), I think the Jak should keep his place until Stockdale earns it back.
