@accordingtoaldo: #millwall have dismissed speculation that they are in talks with #lcfc re: Liam Trotter. They insists no club has come in for any players.
Trotter and Baptise will be enough IMO. Konchesky is good enough to get us out this league and despite some shaky moments on most games is part of the best defence in the league.
Its a fact and genuine discussion, your owners said they wouldnt do business with NP, its not us saying it and its a genuine point that Millwall could now do the same.
Wood wasn't theirs to give away, so cant see any animosity for that tbh, they may feel hard done by, but the fact is that they won't get relegated this year because of him.
^ i know, but they thought they had signed him, only for us to come in. Im sure they wouldnt have got him anyway, but there is a lot of anger on that discusion board someone posted...
Thats just how they talk down at Millwall No different to some reactions about Curtis Davies being taken from under our nose.
I wasn't referring to the transfer, I was referring to the 'small club' bollocks that the Gansta frequently includes when he mentions us.
Do you have a link showing our owners saying that? My recollection is that they said that they look forward to it as it will make an interesting challenge.
He wasn't our player but the fact he had done so well for us gives me reason to think we wouldn't sell you Trotter. I honestly don't rate him as he largely goes missing for big parts of games. so if anyone bid £2m I reckon we would take that. His contract is for at least another year I believe. I wouldn't worry to much about him as if we do sell him it will be to a big team already in the Prem.
Andy King, can score you a cracking goal, but used to go missing for most of the game, you'd never say that he dominates midfield.
