Chris, I've been a Sunderland fan since I was born, my dad took me to my first game in 1988 and I've had a season ticket each year since then, but due to my desire to further my career and a subsequent promotion I earned it has driven me down south, I regularly commute from Milton Keynes for our home games which is quite expensive so please do not call me a true fan. Also my wife is from Slovakia and now she follows SAFC would you call her not a true fan??....You dont have to live in Sunderland to support SAFC..........
Thick Chris, Manchester is a great place to live if you are a real SAFC supporter. As I go to all games home and away, it splits up the travel time. eg. city, utd, l/pool, everton, wigan, blackpool, blackburn, bolton, stoke, all under 1 hour. wolves, wba, villa, birmingham, under 90 mins. chelsea, fulham, 3hours. west ham, arsenal, tottenham 4 hours. sunderland 2hours x 19 plus cup games. the skum takes forever because of convouy. How much more central could you be as a real safc supporter. I doubt your support is as dedicated even if you live in a tent at the stadium of light car park for easy access to your sorce

As to sending Kit to Africa not only does this help them but it raises our international profile = more money for the club. Sunderland AFC keroche here coming the kits we used to play with are so torn that yesterday we have to be given kits by our opponents or else the game could have been given a walk over in their favor many people promised to send us kits but so far we haven't seen anything only one who have sent two shirts,two shorts,three pair of socks and two pair of shoes
