Is it a law or some rule, that if player plays for qpr he is not allowed to play well? Just look that Puncheon. Clearly the man of the match against arsenal.
Before we signed him on loan he'd played brilliantly for Millwall in the Championship, he's just fulfilling his potential and we missed the boat again...
He should have won it for them, great bit of skill to start with but then had a flashback to his time at Loftus Road and shot straight at the keeper! Saints unlucky not to win today.
Shame. It used to be the other way around, as you all recall! We were the developing ground for the future stars of England! So sad what can happen....
I felt that Puncheon came back to LR with Saints with something to prove. I feel that was one of many reasons that Saints thrashed us on home turf. All so very sad.
To be fair folks we are equally surprised really. We had him in League 1 and when he played well we would lay waste to anyone. But he never really had the attitude to go with it. I guess you guys know a lot about that recently . Playing ahead of Clyne on the right, he has been one of our revelations.
I remember all the Saints fans saying they were happy he was leaving them. Also remember him dashing in to HQ to sign. Seems to be doing okay but agree with the op if he was playing for us he would be s###e, saying that if RVP was playing for us he would be s###e as well. I guess if a club is on a downer then it doesn't matter who plays for them.
