Well they have already been rather inconsistent this year, such as penalising Button for cutting a corner and then allowing Vettel to go off track to overtake without being penalised, also the whole Hamilton/Alonso thing in Malaysia. Maldonado also only got a drive through penalty for speeding in the pitlane in Turkey while Buemi got a stop go penalty for doing the same thing in Malaysia.

ok, the jury is still out for me, but I see what you mean with regard to fighting for his seat might be making him more 'erratic' shall we say. As to the stewards, yeah, that's the trouble with rules open to interpretation, and with giving someone a choice in punishment.

I don't know about Massa but there are rumours that the whole team's going to get much dirtier before too long...

I just don't understand this aspect of F1. Briatore, Symonds and Piquet Jr really should disappear from the sport forever - not because of lifetime bans or haughty indignation but just out of human decency.

If The Pig finally gets in at Ferrari (the place he's always wanted to be), I will be hoping Ferrari go bust…

Well, the answer is plain as day Genji: they're not decent people.

Piquet has an excuse of sorts since he was so easily influenced, rather like a child (although not an innocent one!)
And Symonds buckled; ending up bent under a weight of flab…

Cosicave. 'they're not decent people.' That comes as no surprise. All drivers/teams are self-interested, BUT all should have a level of morals and decency?

Bergkamp: I confess that I hesitated. I feel slightly uneasy about speaking of Piquet Jr like that. He was easily influenced by several people, perhaps even including his own father.

But I did not have the slightest hesitation about one vile person who has no respect for anyone or anything but his own selfish and materialistic life.

Funny, isn't it, that this rumour about the oldest team in F1, with the greatest heritage and sense of pride, considering employing the lowest, dirtiest, least fit-and-proper-person is circulating on the day his old adversary Max Mosley has been knocked back for wanting the fact that he went and got spanked on the botty by a few cheap whores kept private?

Hahaha… thanks Genji. I needed lightening up a bit just then. Very few people rile me like Briatore…

Not just driver and teams, all people are innately self-interested, it is only how much their learnt morals/ethics/conscience reign them in determine what type of person they are.

Is anyone surprised that his new sports team (QPR) are being investigated for breaking the rules?

Massa is very quick when not under pressure or suffering distractions, I draw the analgy, a bit like a fighter pilot when in a dog fight, not quick enough on the fire button, and its all over, even I can fly in a straight line, but get distracted and one takes far too long to get back on track. Massa suffers from the same he can't rapidly multitask, he just unthinkly reacts.

Massa is not dirty, he is only just finding his balls in terms of giving it back when it is dished out.
