Could just imagine Browny stood on the touchline firing down the aircraft...

I idolise the man, but you just wonder sometimes

Gotta love Phil Brown, imagine if this happened to Nigel...

"People will obviously have their opinions, I have mine, but that's not for me to discuss at this time. I may have seen the plane fly by, I might not have done but that's something that will be discussed in due course"

Brushing it aside and not making a big deal of it? Seems like the right way to go about it if you ask me.

The plane was clearly in violation of aviation laws, Phil Brown, was just suggesting how to enforce the law. Now if you want a manager who clearly has no regard for the sanctity of British airspace then so be it, but I will always support the long arm of the law.

If Nigel Pearson painted his ceiling white, Phil Brown's would be whiter. You project NP as inferior at every opportunity, we all know your not his biggest fan, but please just let it rest. Browny is at Preston now. If he wants to shoot planes from the sky then fine, it isn't any of your business to 'enforce the full arm of the law'. Come back when you're a barrister or something

I'm sure NP is fully aware of said laws, however he wouldn't be one to take the law into his own hands, would get on with his own business and let the authorities take appropriate action.

Even if Brownie did want to shoot it down, he'd probably buy the wrong bullets. :emoticon-0105-wink:

Well Brownie's got a point as the pilot is rumoured to have deliberately flown over the pitch in an aggressive manner, wearing a leather jacket and then spat at Brian Horton from 5,000 ft..

Meanwhile, the French air traffic controller at Preston Airport (is there one?) "didn't see the incident"

Interviewed later, Brown was supposedly quoted as saying "you know me, I wear my heart on my sleeve, I think we get up the noses of the big clubs like Blackpool and they don't like it.."

(all characters are entirely fictional, any resemblance to real life people is entirely coincidental..)

He could probably shoot it down by aiming the vast amount of bullshit coming out of his mouth in an upwards trajectory, maybe TWF could go stand next to him the two of them together would certainly get the job done.
