If reports are to believed Enrique looks to be engineering a way out of the club this summer. Personally i couldn't care a less because if a player isn't 100% commited to the cause at NUFC then i don't really want them here. Barton is stalling on a new contract but his reasoning seems to be that hes not happy with the way things are run and hes waiting on our ambitions in the transfer market before deciding on his future, which is fair enough (although one good season and hes acting like a pre maddona, he owes this club a lot for sticking by him). I remember Jose Enrique saying he would be signing once our Prem status was confirmed but i still believe he will be off. As long as we get the cash to invest then i wont be shedding any tears

Agreed. I'll be dissapointed, but as you say, if hes' not committed then there's no point in him staying. Just hope he goes abroad and doesn't become a bin-dipper

Isn't that basically what Jose's said as well? I don't understand why people are suddenly so keen to let one of the best left backs in the league leave so easily. I'm hoping we'll buy a few quality players and that'll make Jose want to stay rather than not caring less if he goes.

Jose's been getting a lot of undeserved stick.
He stuck with us during the Championship season and probably could of left in Janurary if he really wanted to I wouldn't begrudge him a move to a CL club or anything like that just don't go to ****ing Liverpool please :(

Because when his head isn't in the game he's one of the worst not one of the best.

I love jose, he's my faverot player but players come and go, if we get a decent replacment then we will forget about him becuase he moves abroad then he will be a small fish in a big pond and he wont be considered the best left back in the premier league anymore

Off topic slightly, I'm not sure I'd call Barton's position prima donna-ing. I think he's tring to blackmail the fat man into doing the right thing.

Mind you, I think Keegan tried htat as well, and it didn't work out that well.
