OK so by our kick off we will know how the teams around us have done. Wigan have United at home. Reading and Villa are at Spurs and Swansea respectively. Fulham have a tough game away at West Brom. The only side not playing today are Rangers who play at Chelsea tomorrow. Here's hoping we start the new year with a great result and our rivals don't! Happy and prosperous new year to you all!
Hope all the other games go our way so that we are not in a worse position than we are now. Then a point or three is a bonus and the worst that can happen is a couple in our -GD, then roll on to Aston Villa.
Since when did Rangers join the EPL? Last I heard, and I was sure this was still true, they were in the Scottish 3rd Division
I think it's almost certain that QPR and Reading will lose. Villa, Wigan and Saints all have a chance to pick up at least a point.
Just switched on WBA v Fulham...not interested really, but I had to stop listening to Merson's view of Saints or I would have topped myself. He says any decent player would choose QPR over Saints!!!
He's always running us down. Best part of Saturday afternoon was watching him squirming as we went 3-1 up at Stoke!
At least he was challenged on his assertion that Lambert wouldn't score in the PL. My New Years resolution is only to believe pundits if they back Saints.
Mines either to get fat so I don't feel the cold so much or not listen to Le Tiss when he slags off Adkins chosen starting line up.
Wigan Villa Reading and QPR will all lose. We'll draw, and just for a bonus, Norwich will turn West Ham over, dragging them in even further.
Half time put bet on at 4/1 for west brom win....level after 3 minutes of restart, come on the baggies
I'd love to have been sat in on that half-time bollocking to see what was said. WBA were dire in the 1st half and have come back out looking like Real Madrid.
