There's something fishy going on there. The Dubliners rang in the new year on Jools Holland and in Dublin City Centre at the same time!

Its the most surreal thing I've ever seen on TV. I kept flicking back and forth to make sure I wasn't seeing things!

 

It's actually recorded about two weeks before New Year...

 

I'm in Ireland at the moment, we managed to always catch either the Dubliners or imelda may/paloma faith. John bishop seemed to be on every other channel as well. Was uncanny.

 

This is exactly right. Sadly the whole thing is as fake as Reading's hoops.
