It was Rodriguez who had the one on one saved. Guly and Lambert missed chances we'd expect them to score also. Don't pin this on Guly he was our best player along with Lambert. Rodriguez scored . None are to blame. We scored 3 goals. None of the attackers can be blamed as we let in 3 which isn't good enough if you want to win games
Played leftback against West Ham, but came on against Fulham and played rightback when Richardson went down. Was definitely an improvement against Stoke because he was fairly woeful against West Ham and Fulham unfortunately, but to be fair they barely attacked down our right at all, they were targeting our left all game.
http://www.teamtalk.com/news/24685/8373971/Monday-Moan-Seven-deadly-sins-of-2012 Has a guy criticisng Jack Cork about staying down too long, and a Stoke City poster defending him with a worrying observation, hope Corky didn't damage that knee again.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QvT61ivTMc4 Go to 1.30. Looks like he tweaked his right hamstring slightly at the time. He must have been fine soon after as he kept playing. And it shows how much damage N'Zonzi could have done had N'Zonzi's foot with all his weight behind it landed on Cork's left knee (or a leg break had he landed on his right leg). It was a red card offence
Well as it was, the Referee couldn't have been in a better position to see what happened, he didn't have any doubts.
Guy on tv at the time said that if the foot had landed on Cork's leg it would have been broken. Straight red for dangerous play...still stands even if connection isn't severe. The ref was right there and called it immediately...be interesting if Stoke's appeal is upheld. Another player (can't remember who) said that it had hurt Cork, but I wouldn't worry as he played on.
