Was in the Loft end at yesterdays game and right in front of us at two consecutive corners Suarez was left UNMARKED in the 6 yard box. As the corner was about to be taken, tHe crowd starting yelling and screaming to mark him. Traore looked over his shoulder at the front post and ran back to mark him. Twice it happened. Wasn't anyone told to pick up Suarez at corners? Schoolboy stuff!
Yeah, saw that, almost as comical as us continually not picking up their short corners. Problem is its anything but funny. Still depressed.
Yep. I sit almost behind the goal at the loft end and Suarez was left un marked at least twice. What do they do on set pieces in training? Even the set pieces we have lack imagination and thought!
POSTED THIS EARLIER ON THE "No you do it thread",.... I have no idea on which thread to post this...and I have yet to see this said. I was "lucky" enough to behind the goal on the lower loft yesterday....and what really really really got to us was the space given to Suarez at corners in the first half....and I don't mean an inch or two but I mean 10-15 foot ALONE. The loft were baying at the players who all seem to have the space to go to, but no-one bothered to pick up Suarez (it is not as though he is a goal-scoring machine or anything). Nelsen and Hill had pushed forward to look after the liverpool CDs who had come forward. At one delayed corner when Suarez had been waiting patiently at the far post alone for at least 10-15 sec, SWP appeared to notice the danger and run back, but was sent to take up position at the near post. I have never ever seen anything that criminally bad on a QPR football pitch before...we cannot sink any lower in skill and organization levels than that! Sorry with that level of organisation plus the fact we have ABSOLUTELY NO forwards who can score goals...I cannot see us getting out of this. I have given up
Yes I saw it too. It happened right in front of me. We were all yelling at the players to mark Suarez. That they then did only because the fans told them to is beyond belief. Scary stuff.
That's what Van der Vaart said about training with Harold, Joe and Kevin too. Never mind, it's probably Mark Hughes' fault.
I was in the upper loft with two of my sons (Liverpool supporters) and even they were shouting for someone to mark Suarez. It is just basic stuff, or do we think that if an opposition player is unmarked, then he is not allowed to approach the ball otherwise he is interfering with play.
Be really interesting to read what exactly QPR fans want from a team in today's football. Watch any goal scored and it would have been avoidable. Players don't move until the ball is kicked at this standard. I agree you attack it if you can so at times it seems players are unmarked. Ratboy's second goal yesterday: Commentator said that it was a brilliant one two with the QPR defender! It's not even football anymore well not the game we all think it is .. its entertainment I look forward to watching Saints Reading and either Villa or Wigan fall down this year I won't enjoy it not that nasty but we have been and can be better than the teams mentioned

Well said on a strictly footballing level we play better stuff and have better players. We are bottom for getting very very poor results. I think wigan on their day play good stuff but we are a far better side than our position suggests I know it.... without that hope what can anyone believe? ... Could be worse you could have Northolt's outlook. The games are gone and of course we have to improve .. we have to get better results ... Stand by your words and opinions ... lets see the likes of Northolt and co get behind the team or be big enough to admit they are just terribly negative. Question how many points left to go for? DT3 no offence mate but you clearly don't watch us enough, I'm struggling to see how we have played better football than any of the 4 clubs you mentioned. You say "we're bottom because we've been getting very poor results"...how do you think those results are achieved?
