Yes, Happy New Year to all! Tipple will be Veuve Cliquot, same as for our promotion (although not the same bottle). No special plans, but I'm excited anyway as I'm finally getting to see my Mum this trip - her care home has been quarantined since 20th December and her Christmas presents are still stacked up here at the house This is the longest her and Dad have been apart in 61 years. So, a positive start and let's hope The Addicks year starts positive at Udinese Reserves tomorrow. COYR!

Always spend Hogmanay at home, with a few friends invited round. 2 or 3 pints of Munton's Home Brew during the evening, then see the New Year in with some Glenmorangie. If that gets finished there is a bottle of Laphroaig waiting in the wings. After Auld Lang Syne we'll sing Happy birthday (Mrs FHB's birthday is Jan. 1st) and at some point I manage to get in a track of Jimmy Shand before getting shouted down. Happy Hogmanay Everyone!

She was indeed - just got in from seeing her and Dad's crashed straight out in his chair, must be the relief of seeing she's OK. Opened all her presents and generally had a good time. Phew.
