Just read the loan players round up on the offish, and it says DJ Campbell's loan expires on 5th Jan - so I guess we wont have him back until after the WBA cup game. Jay Bothroyd has been called back by Harry...so there's one striker back. Not exactly overwhelmed with him returning as he's not really done much for us but maybe Harry will get something out of him and we ARE desperate. Maybe another nail in Cisse's coffin...he looks like a man that won't be here for much longer.
Once again, the glaring mistake in all this is that Helguson was despatched on a one way ticket whereas Bothroyd and Hulse were only loaned out. Of course it could be that there were no takers for Betty and Hulse and that Helguson was at the end of his contrcat and we could not have prevented him going but it was clear at the time that Hughes should have moved heaven and earth to offer him. And I don't mean "You're welcome to stay and play with the kids but you'll never get into my team ahead of Zamora, Johnson and Cisse." What a ****ing joke.
